As regular readers of this blog know, the most frequent visitor to this blog and its unabashed Number One Fan is my friend and colleague, State Representative Marc Gergely. He recently informed me that I wasn’t the only State Representative with an impressive presence on the internet; apparently he is really big on Wikipedia, the massive online encyclopedia.
His Wikipedia page, which can be found here, has all sorts of interesting facts. For example, did you know that Marc Gergely is a Deputy Whip in the House? Did you know that he is the only Democrat from Allegheny County to serve on the House Labor Committee? Did you know that Marc Gergely worked as a director for the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh? These are just a few of the never-ending nuggets of valuable information available for the Marc Gergely enthusuast.
I normally don’t link many pages to this blog, but because he is such a fan, and because he has been relentlessly asking (actually it has disintegrated into begging) for months, I am permanently placing a link to his Wikipedia page on this blog. And in recognition of his ceaseless and unwavering committment to get his Wikipedia page linked to this blog, I am awarding him with the ultra-coveted “Double Thumbs Up from a Guy with a Security Detail Consisting Entirely of Storm Troopers”, making him the first and only two-time winner:

That should go to show just how special you are to this blog. Godspeed, Rep. Gergely.
